How are you this week? This week we had 11 opt in’s including requests to join and 2 new sign ups this week. Welcome Roger and Leyon  to the team!

Reasons Why You Should Start Building You’re own list and Begin Writing your own emails. 
.
So far we have taught you how important KNOW, LIKE and TRUSTis. We have showed you how the mailing autoresponder inside GDI TE has been set up to bring people to you and begin the process of getting to people to know like and Trust you. Now we are going to show you how you can continue to build know like and trust through your mailing list.
.
You might be asking how can I start my own list when I’m not even a team leader yet? But we talked about that a couple weeks ago. You can go here to read about that. In any case, you CAN start building your email list through the upgrade section of TE Profits here. Ask me and I’ll help you.
.
Now, here’s a question: what happens to your list once the GDI autoresponder series has finished? Is that it? This prospect now never hears from you again?
.
No! That is not what should happen! 
You should be creating new letters to send them and continue building the relationship between you.
.
Did you know that the first 13 or so letters inside the GDI TE autoresponder are copied and added a couple times?
.
This brings the total number of letters to about 27 or so. But they are repeats of the first 13. It’s important to know that these letters are usually not all read at first so that when someone gets the 27th letter for instance, they probably have not read it (even though they probably had the chance to read it twice before).
.
It’s also important to know that after they have gone through the series of letters, that if they haven’t responded by that time they may not be in the right frame of mind to ever respond to GDI TE or not until something changes in their life. So it won’t hurt you to change up the letters to talk about something else.
.
My seven figure mentor taught me that after the first 10 letters or so to share something else. So having another business opportunity to share with them or service or product will change things up a bit and keep your readers interested.
.
 After the 27 GDI TE letters are finished I would recommend for example sending your prospects the next series of letters from TE Profits(TEP) .
.
The question is what do you do AFTER your prospects finish the GDI TE letters and then the TEP series?
.
Now you come to the point where it will be up to you to create your own letters.
.
You are probably wondering how you can possibly do that!
.
It’s not as hard as you think. And here’s the thing. You will be building a PERSONAL CONNECTION with your prospects by writing your OWN letters. Remember what I said about Know, Like and Trust? This is a whole second dimension to that equation and the one that my mentor uses the most. In fact there’s not a day that goes by where I don’t get an email from him sharing some thought and what the newest thing is.

When I first started writing email letters for campaigns, I wasn’t very good at writing at all. Even today I have a lot to learn. However I knew that by simply writing one letter each day (whether it was good or not) I would build my experience and I would get better. After writing 20 of them I started to figure it out …and you will too!
.
What are some guidelines for writing emails? I will be honest, you should really take the course my mentor shared with me about this. And if you contact me I will send you a free copy. But here are some basic points he shared with me:
.
1) Share something painful they might be going through (like having to get up early each morning to go to work).
.
2) Give a practical example of this pain and explain it well so they really can feel it.
.
3) Give a solution to this pain 
.
4) Give them a call to action to do something about it (Either by clicking on a link or by replying back to the email to contact you).
.
Got that? 
.
You should write that formula down and practice this with 20 different letters. Only by that time will it really have sunk in! 
.
To Do:

Start writing your first email letter. After you have finished, share this with your team leader. You will be well on your way to understanding Step 10 if you begin!

If you meet the weekly requirement of getting at least 1000 hits using your team link, you will get your 6 over the course of time”. 

.Please preferably get hits from safelists sites although some Text Exchange (TE)sites are ok. The list of TE’s inside TE Profits are acceptable. However, please realize that we get more signups from Safelists as apposed to TE’s and SOME TE’s are NOT good).

Key Secrets to doing GDI Team Elite
.
This is very important to read.
.
Let me give you some tips. If I was starting fresh with GDI Team Elite, these would be my suggestions:
.
One:  Be aggressive about going through the Sixteen Steps. This helps let me know you’re serious about succeeding and not only will you get to Step Nine and be eligible to be in line to begin getting new members to your team (the 1000 hits a week are important too) but you will also begin to understand how real internet marketing works and how to make consistent sales online.
.
Two: There are two KEY elements: Advertising and building your Email List.
.
 If your not building your email list now – think seriously about changing that.  
.
So you can begin building BOTH of these WITHOUT a team! However, building them with your team is more effective. So getting through the Sixteen Steps and getting your 1000 hits a week is worth the effort.
.
You ask how can I build both of these without becoming a team leader? Let me explain:
.
Three things you need: 
.
1) Traffic (lots of it).
.
2) Ability to track your traffic and hits. This is crucial. If you don’t know how many hits you have you don’t know how to improve. Yes as a leader I help you track your team hits but you should be building your team AND your email list. And the only way to do this is to get more than a thousand hits a week. This allows you to build both. This is exactly what I was doing before I was a team leader. Thus you need to know when you hit a thousand and can move the rest of your advertising to building your list.
.
3) You need to build a large email list of people who opt in to your list and build active communication with them. This means eventually getting good at really connecting with people through your list. GDI TE helps you with the basics of this. But you have to eventually get good! Really good! This takes time and should be your real focus. Eventually you will see the power of KNOW, LIKE & TRUST.
.
Eventually your GDI Team will be helping you build your list too but why wait? 
.

This Christmas I want to share with you my appreciation for all your team effort. I’ve been where many of you are. I like to call it the “Valley of your Business”.

Its a place that’s hard to see your success from. Its different after you climb the “mountain” and look down and see how it all comes together!

In fact, I didn’t. I was just experimenting with it. I saw my sponsor and Team Leader Kathy doing very well with it and figured there HAD to be something I was missing! I was right. Kathy did have something up her sleeve I didn’t see.

But It wasn’t until I became a leader that the pieces of the puzzle suddenly fit. And this is primarily because I saw the details my seven figure mentor had shared with me coming together.

I think you may remember how I’ve told you that KNOW, LIKE and TRUST are the key elements in a business and the primary reason why most online business types don’t work. And if you have not experimented with 40 businesses like I have, you may think I keep raving on and on about this.
.
So let me paint a picture for you:
.
You typically start your business, go out there trying to advertise it and then realize that only one or two people ever sign in to find out more and these often don’t even pay to start. If you’re persistent, you will find a few sales like I did.
.
However, with GDI TE, its different. People connect with us and this MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD! Lets just say its the power of TRUST.
.
So, I’m saying all of this to just encourage you to be patient and eventually we will start climbing the mountain together where you will see everything change in front of your eyes!
.
Don’t forget to keep moving through the Sixteen Steps. The reason for this is because the bigger picture starts to present itself in Steps 11-16. Things like how your mailing list becomes the real focus of what you’re doing and building it and connecting to your new people will change your business.
.
Remember, once you are a leader your whole team helps you build YOUR LIST. This sounds like a little thing but its actually rather HUGE!

Doubling Your Investment Fund:

We want you to know that in Step Three we will be showing you how to double your investment with GDI. As you get toward Step Nine and toward getting your six members, you will eventually be making back your monthly investment too. This however, takes time and skill to make your team and your income duplicate. But that’s the goal!

In the meantime while your waiting, learning and getting there, we want to show you how to double your money in simple easy ways right outside your door!

While you are going through this lesson, make sure you are reading “The Richest Man in Babylon” so that you can get the most from this lesson. 
.
.
One: Let’s go through some basics of making money: 
1) “Profits are better than wages” Jim Rohn
.
 What does that mean?
.
The meaning to this is that it’s better to earn a profit from selling something then it is to earn a wage working for someone else. This is because you can always increase your profits ten fold by increasimg your sellimg skills and what you sell, but this is not always the case working at a job. Does this mean to go quit your job? No, its just that working toward eventually quiting your job may be a good goal. 
.
2) Evaluation of an Asset.
An asset is anything you receive, find or buy that you can use over and over again to create income.
An example would be a bus. Once you buy the bus, you can keep charging people to get on your bus over and over again. 
.
Evaluation of an assett means that you are finding out what its true value is BEFORE you buy it. This way you can attempt to buy it cheap and sell it for more or so you can figure out how long it will take you to make your investment back. 
.
3) Obtaining Asset:
.
Simply put, receiving, finding, or buying the asset. This may involve saving up to purchase it.
.
.
4) Buy “Low” sell “high” 
.
This also could mean buying and finding out how long it will take to make your investment back and if it will be worth it. Buying low and Selling high is KEY to being able to make money. Often the hard part is knowing WHERE to buy it low. 
.
5) Advertising
.
Advertising and Marketing are truly the reason that create the most headache inside business. If you don’t have enough advertising or don’t have the right marketing system to bring the right people to you – this can cause a business to fail. This is one of the reasons GDI Team Elite works. It has a great advertising and marketing system, UNLIKE MOST online business.
As far as advertising and marketing something to double your investment fund, there are local ways to do this that are usually effective (That we will discuss later).

6) Building Trust 
Being able to have a marketing system that brings customers to you, so that you have the ability to earn thier “know”, “like”, and “trust” is crucial. Not many sales happen without these three things. 
.
7) Activity
Hey, its just a fact. If you don’t work at it, you wont earn from it!
But along with activity. you need FAITH to believe that you can do it and then ACTIVITY connected to this faith.
.
8. Ability to read, grow and study opportunities.
.
.
I’m not sure if you know this but Warren Buffet spends half of his day just reading and studying business in some way. In this way, he grows better each and every day and becomes more knowledgable about the opportunites around him. This is what you need to do too. And that’s the reason you should read “The Richest Man in Babylon.” But also you should be looking on Craigslist or Facebook marketplace, your local paper or local online page that you can buy and sell from.

Two: Let’s do Something Practical to Double Our Investment Fund: 

(This would equal to be Day 7 on the Doubling Penny Chart)

To Do:
Double your Dollar

Now to double a dollar…you have to think…
Candy bars…water…soda…anything like that.
You buy them cheap and sell them for a dollar…
.
Hey over one weekend I took $3 and bought 6 pack of sodas at a grocery store. I sold three sodas for $1 each to myself. I have a budget to buy them from the store anyway so I might as well sell them to myself! LOL! So I already got my $3 back. Then I found a12 pack of generic water for sale for $2 and big case of generic gummy’s also and had in mind who I could sell them too. So there’s some ideas and tips of what to do with your $3.

What your doing is instead of paying a store your profit – your paying yourself…as long as you or your family have a budget for groceries and snacks, than it will work!
.
This will only go so far however. So once you get your investment fund up to $10, it will be time to consider buying something else for a low price, advertising it in the local Facebook marketplace, Craigslist, newspaper or other. Consider buying something that you understand. For me it was furniture. My wife and I knew that if we could find a good piece of of furniture made with real wood, I could fix it up for a couple dollars (buying tool, wood glue or varnish from Home Depo) and turn it around and sell it for a good profit. Here’s an example of what I did:

This is a free way to make money using Craigslist. Have you sold anything on Craigslist before? It works really great if you know what your doing! For example: By chance one day I found a beautiful bed frame in a dumpster and it only needed some wood glue and a clamp and some stain to fix it up. I turned around and sold it for $100 in two days! I did that over and over again with futons, microwave ovens, bookshelves etc..I found them by accident as I would go to the store or around the neighborhood. I sold thousands of dollars of stuff in my spare time after work. Sometimes if you know what your doing you can find garage sales and buy stuff cheap and resell that too. But be carefull, you can also get taken and not make a cent. I can also show you how to make an ad and what to say and not say and how to test out prices. I usually made about 50% – 100% profit on what I sold!

Make sure your fund comes from your investment fund and not from your personal budget to live on!

Every way you double your fund is by using the fund in a knowledgeable way. This may take some time to research and make sure you are investing wisely.
Try to not spend your investment on anything less than a sure investment that is proven to double. Just make sure you don’t wait TOO LONG. There is always some amount of risk, you just want to make sure you’re not gambling.
 Make a solid commitment not to spend your investment fund. It gets harder to not spend it when it gets to $10 – $100
..
Doubling your money gets harder as you go along. You can keep doubling your money with a strategy you master, however if you want to double it faster may involve learning a new skill. Even doubling $100 is harder then doubling $50 
.
Spending your investment fund on things that are NOT investments, will separate you from the those who will or won’t make it. Some people cannot seem to stop from spending things on things that will not double their investment fund.

If you study the first 10 years of Warren Buffet – his strategy of doubling his money was vastly different than after the next 10 years. But he started out like anybody else…that’s what people forget.
.
In the next Step we’re going to learn how to create $25 with the GDI learning bonus! But don’t let this stop you from doubling your money in practical ways either. Having practical knowledge that you can use anywhere and with what is around you is crucial to your success.

Success, Failure & Scams

Anything of value is created by real work and patience. Don’t be lured by instant success or fast money.
One mentor I had many years ago said “success is the lack of failure”. 
.
Think about that for a moment! In order for there to be success you have had to fail over and over again and have learned from many mistakes and completely freed yourself from most forms of failure.
.
The thing is that often while you’re surfing ads online, success is seen as a really cool capture image, or the perfect title or new way of grabbing your attention.
Even though this is ALL important, there is WAY more to it than that. The problem is that MOST online business opportunities have a CRUCIAL ERROR that causes people to sign up and then move on to the next dazzling thing.
.
The error is in the autoresponder, the landing page and the email follow up series. Typically, online business capture your info and then move you to landing page that encourages you to pay and join. This is a crucial error! 
GDI Team Elite does not do this as its email campaign encourages real communication.
.
You see that is NOT an error for a huge company like Walmart or Target. But for much smaller and less known business opportunities this is a deadly move. The reason is because of this formula:
KNOW, LIKE & TRUST.
I want you to think really hard about this formula for a second. You see, it’s the most important thing about sales. Walmart has already attained Know, Like & Trust. But if you’ve never heard of a particular business, those elements are missing. Some in parts and some in whole.
Be careful of FAST Money promises online:
So here are some questions for you to think about when you are surfing online ads. You can see possible answers below these questions: 
1) Is this “get tons of money system” using the same advertising as you are? This is important to take note of.
2) So do you think they’re making so much more money than you are because they have a sexier capture page or a simpler one or have something better?
3) Do they have an “amazing new done for you system” that is more modern, more advanced, or more of something else that is somehow “killing it”?
.
Answers:
.
People may find these capture pages interesting, curious and maybe even very tempting and put in name and number but only a small percentage of these actually end up buying. This is because they have little KNOW, LIKE or TRUST.
.
Also if they have no real way of communicating with you or allowing for you to meet them, it will have a low amount of sales again because of the know, like and trust factor again.
.
A common factor of bridging the “know” factor is to advertise like crazy so that people see their ads all over the place. When you see an ad close to seven times you are much more likely to opt in to find out more. However, this still does not take the place of like and trust.
.
If they have videos on a web page and personal stories – they might bridge this gap too. However, if you NEVER really end up talking to someone – and building a real relationship you will most likely buy the program and then end up giving up on it as it takes so much advertising power just to even make a few sales. Believe me, I’ve been there. 
.
One more interesting business tactic is to make a business seem like it will be easy to make sales and that all your marketing problems will be over once you join. There are many ways to convince you that this is true including testimonials and even “fear of loss” marketing via email or landing page where you can even see or feel “missing out” every word you read or by every new person that seems to be joining while you wait.
.
Please believe me, I was under a rock star marketer that made signing up my guarantee of success. Yet it made no difference. There are no “free rides” when it comes to success. Failure will bite you at the beginning or at the end.
.

.Let me share my story with you. Like I said I’ve been in 40 different opportunities and worked most of them hard. In one I made $500 my first month but could not do it again even though I gave myself five years to try.

.I did create residual income though with this company which opened my eyes that residual income really works. I still make residual income from work I did in 2005.

.I’ve seen all the ads and tried almost all the stuff and it’s very deceiving.

True internet wealth is built one step at a time and one person who trusts you at a time.

.

It comes down to building your list and building your marketing reach really big over many years of consistent effort into a few income streams that all support each other.

.It impossible to build this jumping from program to program.

So all this has to be supported by a job in the beginning to make sure you can take care of your family as you know. But don’t fall for the fast wealth machines that are out there. They don’t work. I’ve spent $1000’s on many of them trying them out getting mentored by the big shots. What a waste of time.

.Just remember two things: build your list and build communication one person at a time. You will come across amazing people in time who take your business to the next level.

.Last year I spent over $900 in a company called MOBE trying one more time to make a killing online. That company got nailed by the FTC and I nearly got over my my head in debt too.

.My mentor Alan didn’t want me to join them,  but I wanted to make a lot quickly so I did and regretted it.

.There’s a lot of hype around online business. I guess it fills the “Desired Result” of what people are seeking. Still I try to be honest with people but try not to discourage their hopes of success too.

My final thoughts are concentrate on solid business. GDI has an A+ in the Better Business Bureau and is one of the fastest growing companies in the United States. That says a lot!

So it’s important to realize that if you want GDI Team Elite to work for you, you need to work it.

There are Sixteen Steps to Success with GDI Team Elite and if you have not completed steps 1-4 then make sure you contact your team leader to have them send you the first step.

A while back I began sharing my online opportunities to people on Craigslist. I did NOT share the link with them on the ad. Instead I put a phone number for them to call me. They often would call and I would talk with them. They would get to know me then like me and then trust me and sign up with my programs. I began making consistent income with this method. But I was spending a HUGE amount of time on the phone – which I didn’t like. So when I realized that GDI TEAM ELITE duplicated this same system only through EMAIL – I was amazed!

Here are the hit counts from September 24th – September 30th for all those who are generating hits.

If you meet the weekly requirement of getting at least 1000 hits (preferably from safelists sites) using your team link, you will get your 6 over the course of time”. The key is to advertise everywhere particularly in safelist sites you possibly can.
