How are you this week my friends?

This week, I want to share with you Fifteen Questions you need to know to begin having success online. I’ve added the answers for you too so you can test yourself. Let’s begin:

How long should you give yourself to succeed online?

Answer: Many of you answered these questions for me and John Vance was right about giving it as much time as needed. That shows determination and persistence (both which are needed to succeed!).

I’ve heard other leaders say to give it at least five years. It’s hard to really get going and get the momentum you need without a certain amount of time behind it.

1-3 years allows you to build the infrastructure and leaders of your business and the fourth and fifth year your teams should be duplicating and building their leaders and your income should be getting to a place where you can go full time.

What good is personal development and why do I and you need to read and learn every day to succeed?

Answer: Yes many of you were right about motivation being important. Albert Einstein said something like “definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again.” Personal development allows more minds to be involved and help you work your way out of mistakes we often don’t even realize we are making.

Why do I need to track my links and what am I looking for from doing so?

Answer: Torab answered this very well, so I took his answer: “To find out where it best responses are coming from and focus money and energy on more productive marketing.” Great answer!

Why do I need my own list and what will an autoresponder do for me?

Answer: To keep communicating with the list to create Know Like Trust and so that they get a chance to respond back to you. Auto responder will send emails automatically to your list saving lot of time.

What is the phrase inside of an email from your autoresponder that catches your prospects attention and if the email was helpful causes them to respond back to you.

Answer: “Hello “name” do you want to have more free time?” Was one answer I got. That was a good try! :-).

However the answer is: “Send me the link” or “reply back and connect with me” is the phrase that catches attention and creates the personal interaction a team leader or internet marketer is looking for. also it is important to NOT put a link inside an email that you want a response from. If they’re interested, they will get distracted by the website link and forget to respond. If they don’t respond they will lose that chance of getting to know like and trust you.

What on earth is the most Important thing to say to someone who responds to my email and asks me to send them the link or asks me “why should I ask for the link?”

Answer: The thing you say to people when they respond back to you requesting more info or the link is to share your story with them and your failures and successes with them. This helps them identify with you and to give them hope they can succeed just like you have. Even if you’ve had only a little success – it’s important to share that. Even having got your six is a success most people online have not had.

Why is important to have your own picture on a splash page ad?

Answer: Many of you answered this correctly. Torab’s answer was: “So people can put a face to name and begin to trust you more.” Correct!

Why is it important to make new splash pages every other week or so?

Answer: So people take more notice otherwise they get bored. This creativity allows you to gain more subscribers if your page has enough value for them to want to subscribe to you.

Why is getting more than 6 subscribers a week important?

Answer: Torab has mentioned “So you know you are doing something right on on right track.” This is basically correct. Six subscribers is a basic average that I’ve noticed from myself and other team leaders where you hopefully will at least get one who asks for the link and join – but not always. Sometimes it takes 15 or 20 or 30 subscribers depending.

Why 1000 hits a week?

Answer: So the 1000 hits a week is an average where subscribers start to begin coming in.

How many hits on average to actually get 6 subscribers? The answer is NOT 1000 hits.

Answer: So 1000 hits equals about maybe 1-2 subscribers MAYBE. Of course it depends in the effectiveness of the specific capture page. But if it’s an okay one then this may be the average. So to get 6 subscribers you need about 3000-4000 hits. That’s why in Step 10 I give team leaders instructions on increasing their hits and building their team to get enough hits. If you’re team is NOT getting 3000 – 4000 hits, you need to be working on a strategy to get there and soon! Your team’s well being depends on it.

What is the three most important things to create to get a sale (besides having a good splash page and getting enough subscribers).

Some of you put “Know Like Trust” and you were correct. If people can begin to know like and trust you they will have much more confidence to take the jump to buy from you or try what you have out.

12 – 15

How do you get Small Ticket sales? How do get Medium Ticket Sales? How do you get High Ticket Sales?

Torab mentioned that for selling high ticket items: “By medium ticket buyers being happy and trusting you.” And Torab’s on the right track.

Answers to 12-15: So for small, medium and high ticket items, I believe it was John who mentioned having a funnel in place. And yes a funnel is important and also “know, like & trust” (just creating an increased amount of trust and confidence in the buyer is required to make a high ticket sale). The customer has to be thinking that “I think I can turn this around and make a big profit myself.” They also have to have a big belief in you to take the plunge. That’s why your story is so important for them to be able to identify with you!

In GDI Team Elite (I realize as I look over the last two years) that I would have never been able to build a big team if I had not been patient and curious to learn from others. Why Most People Don’t Succeed Online.

How are you this week my friends?

This week, I want to share with you about why most people don’t succeed online.

It all begins with a lack of vision, knowledge and undeveloped skills.

When I say a lack of vision, I mean a lack of realistic goals leading to success and the consistent persistence to accomplish these goals.

When I say knowledge, I mean a lack of understanding these four skills that you need to learn:

1) Learning how to build your own capture pages and create the first part of the equation: the “know” inside “know, like and trust.” building your own capture pages allow a bit of yourself to come through and connect with people – especially if you brand your pages with your picture.

2) Building your own list. You’ve heard this a bunch of times I’m sure. And it’s true. Your capture pages have to be good enough to get enough subscribers each week to build your list.

3) Connecting with your list. This is the most vital part of the equation. I call it the “electric connection” that has to take place between you and your subscribers and your potential clients.

4) Building your own funnel pages. A funnel page is kind of like a Walmart: you go to Walmart to get a birthday card and walk out with a tv. LOL. So you have to learn the skill of building an online funnel that works similar to this example.

There’s a great program that we’ve been testing and promoting lately that helps you develop all these skills. We’ve been using it for the Mentors Program for a while now. It’s called the Prosperity Marketing System (PMS). However the specific program we’re speaking of is Jeff Arman’s funnel he uses with PMS.

Maybe you’ve seen some of my online ads promoting this? What have I learned from all the testing done in the last two weeks? Good question! Well, it only confirmed what Elizabeta and I’ve known for a while: that no program is going to be your magic wand for money. It all comes with learning and implementing the four skills we’ve just talked about.

So yes, PMS is a great system that you can develop your skills with and earns great commissions too (100%) and much faster than with GDI. It also helps you work on each of these skills: 1) It has a capture page maker, 2) helps you build your list by connecting with all your autoresponders (and it has an internal autoresponder too in case you don’t have one), 3. Jeff Arman has letters that you can connect with your autoresponder to connect with your list and 4) The Prosperity Marketing System IS a FUNNEL. So these qualaties caught Elizabeta’s and my attention. This a a program where you can prcatice learning all these skills.

In addition there is a great deal of information on advertising too. However, despite all this, the teamwork and system of GDI Team Elite is still the best system I’ve ever worked with to help people begin to succeed online. So here’s my encouragement and warning all combined about getting invoked with Jeff Arman’s funnel:

If you watch Jeff Arman’s video, you will be inspired to believe that perhaps here is a very inexpensive program that you can succeed with. However, I want you to really understand this next part: if you master the four skills than maybe it will be. But you WILL BE SPINNING YOUR WHEELS WITHOUT THESE SKILLS. And furthermore, how will you learn the four skills I’m speaking of without the teamwork and GDI Team Elite System to help guide you? It’s possible but I would say it’s much harder and the chances of you losing heart along the way are high without a team to support you. I’ll be honest with you, anyone who we bring into PMS outside of our team, we are encouraging them to join GDI if they are at all ambitious and want to learn how to succeed online.

All in all, I believe that IF you can maintain more than a 1000 hits with GDI Team Elite, then it is worth taking a peak at Jeff’s funnel with PMS. I still doubt that you will have massive success until after you learn the four skills. However, you should be able to still make some sales and build some additional residual income that you can reinvest back into yourself and into learning these skills.

How are you this week my friends?

This week, I want to share with you about your personal philosophy. I want to share a bit of my philosophy with you and what I have learned from leaders around me:

I believe your personal philosophy is like your internal strategy. How much you are willing to do, your work ethic on a daily basis and how long you will go on till you find success.

To tell you the truth, if you don’t have a habit of listening or reading books that help you to grow, you’re probably stagnating and in a rut.

There are four areas you need to stay on top of: Body, Mind, Spirit and Emotions.

With your Body, you should have a regular exercise program to keep you fit, happy and alert.

You should also have a stable work ethic. This will help you consistently move forward each day and help you to feed yourself and your family.

With your Mind, you should be reading or listening to good books that help you to grow better and stronger and that motivate you to go further and challenge yourself.

You need to realize that dreams and goals all begin with a thought. This is a “seed” that will grow if you “water” and nourish your dream. Your dreams also need to be watered with actions. And this comes into play with your daily work ethic. You also need to realize that dreams are not built overnight and often you will need to put a lot of work into them without pay before they grow big enough to support you financially.

With your Spirit, you should daily and weekly nourish your heart with Gods love. Without putting time into your spirit, you may end up living your life for things that all pass away and don’t really have any lasting value. Love is the one thing that lasts forever. It passes from one generation to the next and never really fails. It always wins in the end, whereas hate and bitterness eventually tear you and others down.

With your Emotions, you should be daily and weekly nourishing your loved ones around you. Your family and friends are very important to how you feel. Once your inner circle (your closest family and friends around you) breaks down, it takes a huge toll on your inner stability and emotions. How you act also effects your emotions. If you are quick to get angry and always bugging and irritating those around you, it effects how you feel about yourself. Having patience and growing stronger in character builds up those around you and builds up yourself too and how you feel.

Your emotions also reflect how loved you feel from God. And this effects how much love you are able to give out – and this effects how you feel too.

In the end, your personal strategy of living REALLY effects where you get and what you accomplish – just like Jim Rohn said.

Your personal strategy is WAY more important than the business you join or how successful they are. If your work ethic is poor, the greatest business in the world won’t help you.
.

If you don’t nourish your mind, you will not be able to support your dreams long enough to get anywhere.
.

If you don’t feel loved and don’t give out love, you will find yourself falling apart emotionally and tearing those apart around you. How can you build anything consistently over time without emotional stability?

I hope this helps you to move toward having a good balance in life and having the ingredients to eventually having a successful business. 🙂

Making Money from Low to High Ticket Items

This week, I want to share with you about Low Ticket Items, Medium Ticket Items and High Ticket Items work together.

You see the big problem with advertising is that most people have a lack of trust. This is normal because of all the scammers out there. So because of this you have to earn trust and selling a low cost item allows you to do this. People will trust you just a little bit and with a little money if you advertise properly. GDI Team Elite fits perfectly into this category.

Once people understand that you can be trusted and really care about their growth and advancement, then they will trust you with medium ticket items. These medium ticket items could be tools such as a tracker or autoresponder (BuildabizOnline, TrafficWave, and AIOP falls into this catagory).

This brings us to High Ticket Items. RULE ONE: Don’t sell a high ticket item you don’t believe in.

Ok, so the first thing to understand about this is that you can make a lot more money from higher paying items. The difficult side of this is that it usually takes a higher investment to obtain the ability to sell these items. However, not everyone can afford higher priced items, but that there is a certain amount of people that can buy. The next thing you need to know is that you can only reach most of these people if they trust you. This takes time and it takes real sincerity as you earn trust by helping make their lives better and helping them find the path to success. Deceiving people only makes enemies in the end and takes clients away from you.

In the end the goal is to help your members that invest to earn from these high ticket items! If you don’t have this as the main goal you shouldn’t be selling high ticket items.

Let me share another point: Duplication can still create a six figure income through a smaller ticket item. It just takes a lot longer. And often people lose heart somewhere along the way. So learning how to sell higher ticket items will encourage you that you can make more money faster and that you can succeed.

It’s important to understand how small ticket, medium ticket and high ticket items work together. When you become a team leader, the dots will start to connect for you at first how you begin to bring in new members to your team and how small ticket programs work. Then as you begin to get new members join you in other programs (such as TrafficWave, AIOP, BuildabizOnline, Aweber or the Secret of the Big Dogs) through the Sixteen Steps funnel, you will begin to understand how medium ticket items are sold. As you get to Step Sixteen and/or have been a team leader for a while, you should begin moving toward understanding how higher ticket items work.

Let me share one of my favorite high ticket items with you and how it is effective. My favorite High Ticket Item is PLS (or the Power Lead System). This system actually has it’s own free system (FLS) that it gives away to help bring new people into its funnel. Then it has it’s own small ticket item inside of it (Lead Lightning). This is a one time $7 program that has some pretty great things. I just earned $7 from it this morning and the only advertising I do for it is to put it in the Team Elite Traffic Club! However, this low ticket item is nothing compared to the actual Power Lead System. This has almost every tool you can imagine and to be honest I use there unlimited hosted capture page maker almost every day for building my business funnels such as GDI Team Elite squeeze pages and AE Mailer pages. This medium ticket item costs either $30 month for use of all its tools or $53 a month if you want to earn $20 residual commissions from your customers also. The real High Ticket Items are the upgrades inside PLS. The first is the $100 Diamond upgrade that helps you learn the Million Dollar Secret to free co-op advertising. After purchasing this upgrade, anyone of your members inside of PLS who also purchases this, will allow you to earn about $100 over and over again each time it is sold under you. The same is for the next upgrade, the Platinum upgrade that costs around $500. This upgrade allows you to learn all the secrets of Facebook marketing. You can also earn over and over again to infinity from your members who upgrade (after you first upgrade of course). The final upgrade is the Master Traffic Academy for about $1000. This works and earns over and over again the same as I explained with the last two upgrades. So you see how you can earn $100, $500 or $1000 over and over again just from effectively advertising your high ticket item. The question is, “how do you effectively advertise your high ticket item?”

Good question! I can tell you one thing: its not as easy as it sounds! LOL! One thing I’ve learned is that selling high ticket items through “Cold marketing” with typical safelist advertsing is NOT very effective. People don’t trust you much and aren’t likely to upgrade to even the Medium Ticket Item for very long (the Silver $30 or the Gold $53). Occasionally you get a low ticket $7 Lead Lightning sale. The thing I HAVE noticed that works however, is allowing my GDI Team to see how I use PLS every day and how my seven figure mentor makes a lot of money each year from it.

My personal feelings about it are that GDI Team Elite is better as a small ticket program because of its teamwork and because it allows us to build duplication and monthly residual income. For this reason I focus on GDI Team Elite to earn trust and build mutual teamwork that helps us all together. I then use the Sixteen Steps as my main funnel to build and advertise all my other medium income streams and to also build my high income tickets with PLS. This is IMPORTANT: We built the Sixteen Steps so you can do the same and earn just like we do!

Also this week we deleted about 200 members in AE Mailer that had not logged in or had not used our site since joining. This is to help weed out the non user members and help our ads go to only real marketers. We still have way over active 1000 members!

How are you this week my friends?

This week, I want to share with you about disciplining your disappointment while building a team.

So the longer you are with a team, the higher the chances you will run into team members dropping under you and even team leaders dropping out too. It takes a while to find the real dedicated people and even sometimes you can get disappointed by those who even become team leaders under you. I’ve had a few drop and it was really surprising and gave me a lot of doubts for a while. But consistency is what it’s all about and finding the good people.

Also you realize that there are other good programs out there but GDI is great too. It’s got a price that everyone can afford and when you start seeing your team duplicating under you and bringing in that extra income – it really starts to add up.

Also the email system that GDI Team Elite has where people respond back to you is unique and I don’t know of one other system that uses it and I’ve been in forty different programs. I know other Six Figure Earner‘s that implement it but there is no system that I know of. This was what I recognized as the deciding factor for me with GDI. This was what changed everything for me and I am for ever grateful to GDI Team Elite for this. To me it’s the best basic program and if you want to implement another program on the backend then that’s great. The mentors program with the Prosperity Marketing System is a good example. Anyway I really did not have any success with those programs by themselves. It was only when I learned advanced marketing strategies and started implementing “know like and trust” through 1) my team, 2) my mailing list and 3) funnels, that I began to have any success with those other programs. I hope this encourages you that with GDI Team Elite you DON’T need advanced systems to make it work!

This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take the time to learn advanced marketing. In fact I think it rather an ignorant decision to NOT follow through with Steps 11-16 and learn these advanced methods. You’re really throwing a lot of money away to ignore them.

How are you this week my friends?

This week, I want to share with you about how GDI Income works and how it’s working for me:

So let me begin by sharing a little about my team and my discoveries with you. I have 93 people on my team right now. 36 come directly from my efforts over the last year and a half. Of course I’ve brought in probably over 100 myself but many just come in and do nothing and then quit wondering why nothing happened. LOL!

So, 57 people on my team are not from my direct efforts at all. They all come from my 9 team leaders under me and their efforts. Of course they earn and I earn too.

I have 2 on my level 2 not from my direct efforts.

8 on my level 3 not from my direct efforts.

27 on my level 4 not from my direct efforts.

20 on my level 5 not from my direct efforts. You can see how so many leaders on my team have increased my income per level. And this can happen for you too!

The whole idea behind this is that duplication is the driving force of your income. Let me share a couple thoughts from a previous article and a few new thoughts that go along with it:

.So if you read the book the Slight Edge, you will know that doubling a penny over 30 days compounds to a million dollars. I know that sounds incredible but it’s true. Try doing the math for doubling a penny’s earnings for a month. It’s really eye opening!

However, it doesn’t seem like a lot of money for quite a while and even half way into the month it still does not appear to be that much money. The comparison between doubling a penny is very similar to GDI because you only earn $1 per membership. So it doesn’t seem like you’re earning that much. Let me explain: from a $10 membership, $5 goes to GDI for their services, and $1 goes to each of five levels (which pays five people and turns into another $5).

You might now be thinking that it would be better to sell higher ticket items to make more money. If so then I hope you also realize that GDI is the perfect price inside our niche. Trying to sell high price items takes a lot more skill and much more experience understanding advertising and marketing and reaching people with higher ticket products. If you think you’re going to just go join a program which sells more expensive items and go advertise one of their pre-made pages in the Safelists and make a bunch of money – your sadly mistaken. Theoretically it should work but you will find you only sell a few items here and there and the effort will not pay off (I know because it did it many times). Also, by the way, their is a much higher chance you will be spending a lot more in the process of joining these programs that sell higher ticket items.

I do want you to understand that selling higher ticket items IS A GOOD IDEA but ONLY after you understand marketing really well and AFTER you reach people with a basic price they are willing to pay. You will only reach SOME people with higher price items IF they get to KNOW, LIKE & TRUST you. And if people really are to trust you, you will need to actually find value in what you sell and buy it first.

So lets first begin with understanding the basics, how to make a little money online, and getting people on your team first before we go for the big money. And don’t forget that the bigger money in GDI is found in the compound effect. This is where the heavy lifting is done and this is what is so difficult to build.

Most people give up saving pennies and learning how to double their earning power because they don’t see the long term effects of leverage and compounding.

And this is why many quit a lot of programs including GDI because they don’t understand these concepts. Let me give you one more example of how GDI works and the GDI Calculator…you can view it all at this link:

How are you this week my friends?

This week, I want to share with you about life’s subtle lessons;

It’s a beautiful day here in Pasadena California. This morning I was visiting with my brother who came down from Oregon for my mother’s funeral.

We had a really good time talking and I realized that it’s just the two of us now as both our parents have passed away.

You begin to really appreciate each other more. Life is beautiful but it passes quickly and you really have to appreciate and be thankful for every moment.

The sun was shining and the grass and trees looked so beautiful in the morning as we talked near the grave sites of my parents.

It’s very interesting all the occurrences of our lives, the places we live and move to, the changes that happen and all the events that move and surround our lives.

In it all, are the building blocks of our lives. What we believe, what we stand up for, what we do and don’t do and our inner character.

It’s unfortunate but many have this expectation that they will reap what they did NOT sow. Reality over time shows us the complete opposite. You often get what you deserve and if you have worked hard to create something, then you will get back from that. .

The other thing is that people forget that life can be complicated and that building something can have a lot of moving parts and areas that have to be fine tuned. And much of this “fine tuning” has to be learned the hard way through trial and error. This is not always fun and the reality of real work is needed but still connected with faith and the dream of what can be.

These are the important things that take us to new places and to new levels.

How are you this week my friends?

This week, I want to share with you about SUCCESS and PAIN.

Unfortunately success has a HUGE amount of pain attached to it and only those that are really serious about it – will make it.

I mean if it was EASY then EVERYONE would have success!

When I first started out trying to make money on the internet, you would have thought that I would’ve have got somewhere working for three months straight with 12 hour days – right! WRONG. I just learned enough to know that I was not succeeding and had a million more things to learn.

This is NOT what anyone wants to hear but it’s the truth and best to know it for our own sake. Everyone wants “easy” but they don’t realize that even leaning how to walk was full of pain.

So it’s good to realize that things of value take real time to learn!

It’s also good to have proper expectations because if you think you’re going to make a “killing on the internet” in six months to a year – then you’re in for a major disappointment.

By the way, I’m not trying to dash anyone’s hopes here or dreams. Also I know that no matter what I say, some of you will just have to give it a try anyway and pay a bunch of money to some online gurus so you can get “taken” by their little scheme and realize I know what I’m talking about – LOL. After all, I spent $1000’s of dollars on their lies too, so no hard feelings!

One more point: everyone also wants to make a $1000 in their first month or at least $500. But here’s the thing. Going from making $0 online to $500 is just fantasy. It goes more like this: Learn how to make a few dollars online first then move up. You move up the ladder when you start developing what I call your “power tool”s:

1) Building Team Leaders & Duplication. (Doubling and tripling your efforts through LEVERAGE)

2) Increasing your monthly income by creating more and more residual income each month.

3) Understanding internet funnels and how to sell higher priced items through your funnels. Understanding how “KNOW, like & TRUST” will help you earn that through your funnels.

So in conclusion, be patient, go through the Sixteen Steps and give yourself realistic expectations. A five year goal is a good place to start. I truly hope this has helped you!
