This week I want to share with you about self discipline or the regret. 

I came upon this quote by Jim Rohn: “We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret.” Another quote he said puts things in balance: “Learn how to be happy with what you have while you pursue all that you want.”

.

Here’s my take on it all: I’m actually very self disciplined. If I want something bad enough, I go after it 100% and don’t give up until I figure out how to accomplish getting it. Maybe you can relate? However, its harder for me to balance my lifestyle out (while I’m so driven) so that I can “enjoy the ride”. I tend to work more than I should and it’s harder for me to “kick” myself out of my office and get up and do something like exercise or just relax and have fun. The thing is, if I don’t, then I end up getting a sour attitude because I’m not enjoying my life. So I really appreciate Jim Rohns wisdom here to help me balance out my life and my expectations. Some goals can take years to achieve (like becoming successful earning online), so making sure you feel happy in the meantime is really important!

On the other hand, if you have a hard time being self disciplined, you can end up on the other side of the spectrum and not get anywhere with your dreams and get stuck in a rut, wondering to yourself when things will ever get better for you. The thing is, if you don’t work at it, nothing will happen. You may be generally happy with your life but at the same time unhappy that things are not changing. On top of this, the pain of regret is much heavier than the pain of self discipline. Better to get things in order so you won’t look back and say you didn’t give your dreams your all. That’s why these quotes really hit home for me. You know, you can’t gain the rewards of being self disciplined while you’re being lazy (lol). And on the other side of the equation, you will burn yourself out if you don’t relax a little and enjoy what you have.

So now it’s time to think about what will you risk to achieve your dreams? The thing is, you don’t have to search everywhere to figure out the formula like Elizabeta and I did.

A mentor is the ONLY reason Elizabeta and I were able to pull out of being in a rut advertising for years without much to show for it. A mentor is the only reason I was able to figure out the five critical skills. It was the difference between success and failure online for us. And it will be for you too.  Want to know more about it? Go here

“Things Will Get Better?”

This week I want to share with you about how things will get better! 

So Jim Rohn has a quote that sheds a lot of light on this: “The only way it gets better for you is when you get better. Better is not something you wish, it’s something you become.” Jim Rohn

.

How do things get better? Only when we get better. You know everyone it seems, just wants things to get better naturally. They don’t want to pay the price or learn and do what it takes to get the right skills to succeed. They just want the “Done for you” program” that most likely is 90% a lie. Not that all “done for you” things online are bad. There is a lot that a program CAN do for you. The thing it CAN NOT do for you is teach you the skills you need to succeed. It also can’t teach you how to think like a millionaire and have the persistence you need to stay in the game.

.

Unfortunately, most of you, you will quit because things get too hard, or because you don’t realize that you’re mind is the most powerful tool and that success is something within your reach. Taking control of your mind is the first step. Instead many will focus on what the little they have achieved and why they can’t win. They will focus on all the reasons that are against them such as having the wrong program or it taking too much work to find the ways that do work. It’s so easy to get down in the dumps and think inside that “it’s impossible”. But this is the negative side of your mind deceiving you. 

.

I want to encourage you that it is possible! One of the most powerful things in life is patience. It allows us to keep fighting on, learning and growing until you find the light at the end of the tunnel. In reality, its just the skills you don’t know that are the key to your success. Yes, I thought it all looked impossible too but because I refused to give up, it allowed me time to find the skills from other marketers much better than myself. What gave me the ability to not give up? It was simply that my “why” was stronger than the obstacles in front of me. And you have to find this “why” inside of you. Something inside of you will not let you give up if it has to do with you achieving your dreams or in order to make things better for your family etc. You have to dig down deep to find it. ​

“Sharing What You Love Online!”

This week I want to share with you about how to share what you love online EFFECTIVELY! 

So let me go into the MOST effective way to share what you love with people online and get results! Have you ever heard of building your mailing list? Of course you have! So as you begin to build your list, you just need to start learning how to write effective emails to your list. And do what I do: Share what you LOVE with them! Not only that, as you gain more experience, you will learn how to transition into a topic that will help them and encourage them at the end of the email to communicate with you and help you begin to earn online!

So how do you share what you love in an email? Let me get into it: 

.

I start out by thinking of something I’m interested in writing about. It could be anything. However, I love talking about sailing the most – to be honest. If a boat is in the conversation, my ears perk up like a dog that smells food! (LOL!). So I start off by introducing myself. Then I tell them that I love sailing and that I was just out sailing last weekend (for instance) and sailed through powerful wind blown waves that wanted to push me into the rocks. I write something that is true and that is interesting. Then I TRANSITION. I share with them that just as the ocean often has an “agenda” of taking me places I don’t want to go (such as the rocks!), so it’s the same with internet marketing. There are always negative things that happen to your business online. Here’s an example: new members can create problems. For instance, when I get a new member that pays and signs up but then has no interest in actually succeeding or following the training to have success. Its irritating and disheartening because I’m thinking “well this person’s not going to get anywhere! Not only that, they won’t have success and they won’t bring new people into our business and in addition, I won’t earn anything more from this member as they won’t want to buy anything else (such as advertising for instance), and they won’t bring anyone else in under them so I won’t earn the team overrides. And of course, I feel sad too because they will give up in a month or two and then have a bad experience. So you can see how my feeling of “fighting the waves” and “fighting online” are similar. I then transition again. I write something like this: 
“But you know, then I learned something. I learned that in sailing, you can get where you want to go by adjusting the sails and tacking (in a 90 degree angle to the wind for instance) and online, you realize that out of every ten people that sign up, only one or two will be really worth your time and to concentrate more energy on those ones. Try to help them but if they turn into “bad eggs”, leave them alone and move on. This helped me a lot!” So then I transition again to a ‘call to action‘, like this: “So now I want you to understand that life always brings struggle into the equation. If you’re wondering how I’ve managed to figure out how to have success not only at sea, but online too, just simply reply back with the subject line “tell me more” and I will send you more info.” 
See how I did that? That’s how I’ve managed to write about 200 emails and put them in my autoresponder over the years. But it all started by starting with one email. And I was scared to get started. I was afraid that people would unsubscribe to my list and even more scary was the thought that they would think my emails were stupid. This almost stopped me from learning. But it didn’t. I decided that it would take me a year, writing one email a day, to get any good at this. So that’s the route I took and after 30 or so emails, I started getting the hang of this…and you will too! This week I want to share with you about these three mailers and the secrets we’ve learned from them. I know you will find these secrets very helpful. 🙂 

So now it’s time to think about what will you risk to achieve your dreams? The thing is, you don’t have to search everywhere to figure out the formula like Elizabeta and I did.

A mentor is the ONLY reason Elizabeta and I were able to pull out of being in a rut advertising for years without much to show for it. A mentor is the only reason I was able to figure out the five critical skills. It was the difference between success and failure online for us. This week I want to share with you about how “It’s not how much the book costs, it’s how much it will cost you if you don’t read it.” Jim Rohn

So how much will it cost you to NOT read the book? Hmmm…good question huh. That’s kind of like saying “well what will I learn that will change my life?” Well, you never know till you read it. But for sure, nothing will change in your life unless you change and unless you bring some kind of catalyst for change INTO your life. And that’s what books are.

I know this makes sense. And to be honest, it’s even easier to read these days then before. I mean have you ever heard of “Audible“. You just go to Amazon.com look for a book on Audible and then buy it. You then download it to your smart phone and then just press your new books icon so it uploads to your device and you’re all set! I listen to it while I’m driving or working or whatever. It really saves me a lot of time having to sit down and actually read it. Try it! Want some life changing books to read? It’s almost the same equation for getting coached or mentored. What possibly could change by coaching or mentoring? Well, possibly a LOT! But staying in the dark won’t bring about anything new. It’s kind of like what Einstein said: ““The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

“TO RISK THE UNUSUAL“

This week I want to share with you about how if you don’t risk the unusual, you will have to settle for the ordinary.” Jim Rohn

So you know, from 2012 – 2018, I worked online hardly making any money. I used to visualize actually making consistent sales and in the back of my mind, it was like dreaming about a fantasy or something I would never achieve. But eventually my mentor gave me the tools I needed to figure it out. But what in the world would keep me working online for all those years with such little reward? Was it because I just liked to waste my time and work? Hardly. I just knew that if I took the risk and kept at it, I would eventually figure it out. But the fact it was taking me so long, really aggravated me and made my dream so much harder to actually imagine realizing. But sometimes you have to move forward even when its all “dark” and when there’s little to inspire you.

There’s another word for that and this is called “faith”. Faith goes out to take hold of something it cannot see. Faith is built on trusting solid ideas and solid beliefs – not on baseless things. I mean Walt Disney had faith that he could create Disneyland and he was able to pull it off. He didn’t have the money to make it happen but was able to “sell” his idea for a loan. But the loan wasn’t big enough, so he borrowed against the cash value in his life insurance policy to create the additional amount. This is real active faith in his ability to make his dream into reality. Today Disneyland is valued at $70 billion.

MONEY IS “ATTRACTED”?

This week I want to share with you about how “money is ‘attracted’ and not pursued” (As Jim Rohn’s quote goes).

You know many people want the recipe for making money online. And they always assume that it’s buying into a program or business. They think that that will do the trick and that money will just flow in. The thing, is they’re dead wrong. I like how Jim Rohn puts it: “Money is usually ‘attracted’, not pursued.” Think about this for a minute. What does this mean anyway? Good question right!

So let’s break it down in a way that’s understandable. For one, making money is not something you go after. It’s something you encourage to ‘come to you.” Think of attracting a dog or cat. Can you picture that. It’s not always so easy to get a dog or cat to come to you. Not unless you really understand dogs or cats. And it’s the same thing here. You don’t just buy a book on dogs or cats and think that this will do it. No, you have to really like dogs / cats and earn their trust. Yeah, you can get a big steak and attract them that way, but that won’t really earn their trust long term. You can see, what I’m talking about is much deeper than most people are willing to go. To attract money you have to understand what you’re dealing with and become the person who can honestly earn the trust of others. In order to earn trust – you have to have real skills and earn people’s trust for real. This isn’t a game. Is it a game to you? I mean do you want someone playing around with your emotions and selling you on stuff that’s fake? Of course not. so you must become the person who is real and deserves your own respect and the trust of others. It’s not a game and you mustn’t treat it like that. Take what you’re doing seriously!

This week I want to share with you about taking “possession of your dream”.

Taking “possession of your dream” means seeing your dream come true, expecting your dream to come true, working every day to make it come true, dreaming how you can make it come true, moving all your talents around your dream in a unified, focused way. To see how your entire life rotates around your goal. What is your life about anyway? Think about it and see if your dream is what will help all those around you. Now, if it is truly what you’re life is all about, put a focused but balanced effort to move your life into making it happen with God’s blessing. Take “possession of your dream” and see your life as having accomplished it – every day. 

 

A mentor is the ONLY reason Elizabeta and I were able to pull out of being in a rut advertising for years without much to show for it. A mentor is the only reason I was able to figure out the five critical skills. It was the difference between success and failure online for us. In the last two weeks we had 15 subscribers. We had 6 people asked for links, 6 person emailed us back and 0 signed up in GDI. In PMS we had 3 sign ups and in PLS we had 2 sign ups. 🙂

This week I want to share with you about the difference between Mentoring, Coaching and Online Support with our system: 

Ok, so the difference is this: “Online Support” is basically when you email Elizabeta or myself. We typically will send you a link to our main training page so you can go through it and find your way. “Coaching” is slightly different. When you email, we’re going to ask you questions to find out what your experience level is, what your main problem is and then send you a specific video or training to help you in that area. We will also email you back when we aren’t so busy to see how you did with that assignment. “Mentoring” is scheduling a time to talk on the phone, Facebook Messenger, Skype or Zoom and for us to listen to your story and what you’ve been through and setting up a dynamic plan especially for you to help you succeed. If you meet the weekly requirement of getting at least 1000 hits using your team link, you will get your 6 over the course of time”. 

. We would prefer you get hits from safelists sites because we have documented evidence that we are getting sighnups from Safelists.

This is NOT true for TE’s. Although some Text Exchange (TE) sites may get our name out there and may have some use as far as “branding” (The list of TE’s inside TE Profits are better) we would suggest you use your time wisely. SOME TE’s are a complete waste of time and money.
